The Medical Education Review Program (MERP) is a rigorous 15-week, post-baccalaureate pre-matriculation program that prepares students for the demands of medical school and helps students pursue their career goals. In MERP, we provide outstanding education in academically challenging basic science courses: Anatomy & Histology, Biochemistry, Microbiology & Immunology, and Medical Physiology. In addition to the basic science curriculam, MERP also provides an effective learning environment where students can improve their study and time management skills while building a social network that helps them adjust in the first semester of medical school. Since 2004, MERP has helped students of a variety of backgrounds launch their medical careers and successfully attain their doctorate degrees. The accomplishments of students who succeeded in MERP have led to the program’s strong reputation and increased enrollment. |
